Vignory
The village of Vignory is home to the Church of Saint-Étienne, one of the oldest Romanesque churches in France (11th century), overlooked by the ruins of its fortified castle.

By car: D117 north of Chaumont; Vignory railway halt.
History
Built around 1050, the church has kept its original three-storey elevation, a rare example of early Romanesque art.
