Purpose
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) set out the conditions for accessing and using the website visitgrandest.fr (the “Site”). By accessing and using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms and accept them without reservation.
If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the Site.
Description of the service
visitgrandest.fr is an independent tourism portal, published by a private individual, listing places and activities in the Grand Est region (Alsace, Lorraine, Champagne-Ardenne). It offers an interactive map, a personal trip planner, a location-based nearby tool and a local conversational assistant.
This website is not affiliated with any public, territorial or regional body and is not the official institutional website of the destination, which is available at visitgrandest.com. Its content reflects a personal and independent editorial approach.
The Site is provided free of charge and does not require any mandatory registration. Creating an account is entirely optional and serves only to synchronise your trip planner across your devices.
Access to the Site
The Site is accessible free of charge, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except for scheduled or unscheduled interruptions for maintenance purposes or in the event of force majeure. The publisher cannot be held liable for any temporary unavailability of the Site.
Access to certain features (cloud synchronisation, achievements) requires creating an account and an active internet connection.
User account and trip planner
The trip planner (“My list”) is saved locally in your browser. You may, if you wish, create an account (using an email address or a Google account) in order to save your planner and access it on several devices.
You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for any use made of your account. You may at any time erase your online backup or permanently delete your account from your Account page.
Affiliate links and bookings
Some links to booking or ticketing platforms (Stay22, GetYourGuide, Booking.com, Expedia, etc.) are affiliate links. If a booking is made via these links, the publisher may receive a commission, at no extra cost to you. This does not influence the editorial selection of the places and activities featured.
Booking transactions are concluded directly between you and the third-party platform concerned, under its own terms and conditions. The publisher is not a party to these transactions and accepts no liability in respect of them.
Intellectual property
All content on the Site (texts, structure, organisation, layout) is protected by intellectual property law. Any unauthorised reproduction or reuse is prohibited. Photographs come from Pexels and Wikimedia Commons (credited), base maps from Leaflet / OpenFreeMap / OpenStreetMap and administrative boundaries from geo.api.gouv.fr. For full details, please see the Legal notice.
User conduct
By using the Site, you undertake not to disrupt its operation, not to attempt to gain fraudulent access to its systems, not to carry out any large-scale automated extraction of its content, and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Personal data
The processing of your data is described in our Privacy policy, available from the site footer. Use of the Site implies that you have read this policy.
