Housed in the majestic Hôtel-Dieu-le-Comte, the Cité du Vitrail reveals the art of stained glass from the Middle Ages to the present day, in Champagne's capital of the craft.

By train: Troyes station, a 10-minute walk away, on the banks of the Seine.
History
The Hôtel-Dieu, a medieval hospital rebuilt in the 18th century, is closed off by superb wrought-iron gates dating from 1760. The Cité du Vitrail opened a permanent exhibition here in 2022.
