Château de Montcornet-en-Ardenne

Towering over the village of Montcornet, the ruins of the feudal castle bear witness to a thousand years of Ardennes history, from the 11th to the 15th century.

By car: Montcornet-en-Ardenne, south of Charleville-Mézières.

History

Remodelled in the 15th century by Antoine de Croÿ to withstand firearms, the castle is now preserved by an association of volunteers.
