Sainte-Croix Wildlife Park
Spread over 130 hectares of countryside, the Parc animalier de Sainte-Croix presents European wildlife roaming in semi-freedom — wolves, bears, lynx, bison and storks — with a focus on immersion and conservation.
Getting there
By car: Rhodes, in the heart of the Pays des Étangs (near Sarrebourg). Large on-site car park.
History
Opened in 1980 at Rhodes, it has become a benchmark in Europe for presenting European wildlife and raising awareness of biodiversity.
Culture & stories
You can even sleep facing the wolves in unusual lodgings. Trails, observation hides and nurseries punctuate the visit.
