Roche aux Sept Villages

Perched above the valley, the Roche aux Sept Villages viewpoint offers the most spectacular view of the Meuse meander at Monthermé, from where seven villages can be seen.

By car: Monthermé, then a forest road up to the viewpoints. Waymarked hiking trails.

History

This listed natural site in the Ardennes forest is one of the most famous panoramas in the valley, carved out by the river's meanders.
